Road blocks | Stepping Stone

“And We created you in pairs” - Quran, Surah An-Naba, verse 8

I began this piece with clouds and the skies as my focus but the green and gold stones called me the loudest. It didn’t make sense to me to add them but as I read this verse from the Quran. It all made complete sense.

All our lives, we strive for good things to be self sufficient. Self reliance is the best way to focus on bringing out the best in you. But with every step ahead, there is a test. If achieving goals was so easy, we would all have crossed the finish line and always be in rest mode.. but the Creator knows best! He will always show us more when we think we have it all! Why? Because there is no way to count and contain the blessings bestowed upon us. He will just make us see what else lies ahead. I feel it’s the best form of motivation that Allah could give to every individual depending upon their own capacity.

Allah made everything in pairs.
Along the path of achieving goals will be road blocks. Over time, I recognize that the road blocks were actually a stepping stone. The sky is the limit and I’ve heard the skies are limitless.
