As I dissect this name, I want to go back to a casual conversation with an acquaintance.
I was asked last week if the “now” is easier than my last life? It made me laugh. Nothing is easy! In the past, I was a zombie that agreed to whatever was told. I was accepted, but never respected. At present, I wake up questioning myself “why am I doing this”? My win is my own respect, towards myself. I might not have a fancy flashy life as I did before, but I know my “rizq (whatever I need for survival) is guaranteed by my Creator and not the false gods who vanished when I needed them the most”.
Reminding myself the above statement is the hardest every single day, but I’m shown magic that no storm lasts forever.
The chaos will always be followed by fun,
but the peace of heart is all the matters. Thats how “Afra (chaos) Tafree (fun) makes sense to me.
