Journey to Self!
We are raised to fit best into our surrounding environment. The more humble and gullible you become, you fit in better.
I’m aware that being in a constant state of giving, reaps rewards that are tenfolds. Within my limitations, I make attempts to practice this form of “trade” - seeking rewards from my Creator only. On the contrary, it is flattering to be loved and appreciated by the people around you - when you give them whatever you can at your best. But as humans, the efforts lead to an eventual burnout.
The moment you resist giving because of your own exhaustion, the world turns around and reminds you to be “kind and giving”.
The history of giving is forgotten in a minute and pearls of wisdom are shed upon us, as guidance to keep up! Burnout? What burnout? Keep giving! Where’s your sabr?? Please stop! Do not let anyone bully you into being abused emotionally. More on this some other day.
Moral of the story:
“When you decide what is enough for you, you realize that you have always been worthy of your own life”.
❤️ Let’s all pledge to ourselves “the acceptance to being enough - just as we are”. Be kind towards your own self, before being kind to anyone else.
Limitless are the possibilities to wherever the heart guides us. The ordinary threads seep in to give me “healing” as I dive into my journey to self.
Sending lots of love and duas to whoever needs them. Truck loads more to my special tribe❤️ you all know who you are ❤️.
Best,
Amna Nawab
